Different field trips are planned annually where students are sent to different places to explore and learn. We are planning a host of school trips in the upcoming session to send our students to museums, aquariums, natural reservations or botanical gardens. While they give kids a break from the classroom routine, these outings do not hinder the learning process. Students continue to learn by observing natural phenomena, animals, plants and artifacts firsthand.

A field trip can also support and reinforce the material covered in class during the school year.

In current times, education is not only study centric, but it should help in overall and complete, mental and physical, development of the students. This is the reason, why, apart from studies, a host of other activities, such as playing, excursion and educational tour, is also given much importance in our school. The reason why it is done so is that when students will be provided all these options, they can better evolve to face the future challenges of their life. We are planning a host of tours in the upcoming session where students can visit different places and learn about the culture and about the place.

From the upcoming session we have planned for students exchange program where deserving students will be sent for a week to different schools in Nepal and abroad to enable them to learn and to experience a totally different environment. Student exchange programs provide students with opportunities that they simply could not get anywhere else. It broadens their horizons, they experience a new culture and learning process becomes easier. These students learn to analyze the things around them in a constructive manner and learn how to solve problems on their own.

While adding to a student’s education is very important, students who participate in exchange programs also benefit on a personal level. By having the opportunity to discover themselves in a place that is unfamiliar to them, students develop self-awareness and self-esteem in a manner that cannot be duplicated. These students learn the ability to confront social challenges outside of their comfort zones and deal with problems head-on.

Education becomes a monotonous and tedious affair if it is solely based on classroom teaching and learning process. We have therefore, combined education with entertainment. Excursions, field trip, competitions, workshops are organized annually. Students are sent to different schools within Nepal and in India for workshops and competitions, so as to provide them exposure to different people and culture.

The school follows continuous and comprehensive evaluation(CCE) which is an education system newly introduced by Central Board of Secondary Education in India, for students of sixth to tenth grades. The main aim of CCE is to evaluate every aspect of the child during their presence at the school. This is believed to help reduce the pressure on the child during/before examinations as the student will have to sit for multiple tests throughout the year, of which no test or the syllabus covered will be repeated at the end of the year,

As a part of this new system, student’s marks will be replaced by grades which will be evaluated through a series of curricular and extra-curricular evaluations along with academics. Grades are awarded to students based on work experience skills, dexterity, innovation, steadiness, teamwork, public speaking, behavior, etc. to evaluate and present an overall measure of the student’s ability.
